One February 25th 2009 Philip José Farmer died peacefully in his sleep.
He was one of my favorite authors and heavily influenced my Novella Matilda's shadow. He wrote great books and created realistic worlds in his head.
I had the privilege of meeting him several times in his life, and he was very kind to remember my name every time.
I enjoyed all of his books and I will miss him terribly.
My thoughts go out to his family.
