Review:

First of all let me say that I think my local library made a mistake because they put it in the teens section when it should have been in Sci Fi or Fantasy.

Now for the proper review. I really liked this book because of the oculist/boarding school/ resident evil themes.

The book had me spellbound and all the characters are marvelously well written and the surroundings seemed quite realistic.

I would be lying if I didn't say that the first thing that made me notice it was the cover art: a boy holding an air rifle outside the school. Bodies hanging from thick silver chains between two lampposts. All that was quite noticeable.

I liked the private school theme, and the school reminded me of my old school, which was a very prestigious private school in Bloomfield Michigan (I think you can guess which one it was,)
